Jim & Sheryl Leaman

We came to Guatemala with a mission team from our church in March 2008. In March 2008 God prepared us, and opened the door, with an opportunity to serve in Guatemala with ORI.

It was difficult to leave our two married daughters and their families; Angela lives in State College, PA and Jenelle in Jacksonville, FL. They have blessed us with six wonderful grandchildren. We miss them a lot but we’re surrounded here with many little ones to hold and to love.

We both help with the teams as they come and serve at the many orphanages. As special projects manager, Jim gives direction to the newer areas of ministry as ORI continues to grow. Sheryl is helping to develop and oversee the new child sponsorship program that will provide internet access for sponsors to financially support and connect with the children of the orphanages.

It is exciting to see what God is doing, and we feel privileged to be part of the ORI team.
