Mission Statement:

As a branch of Orphan Resources International, it is Esperanza's desire to give churches and organizations the opportunity to be involved in supporting an orphanage through financial gift giving in order to provide orphan children with a stable and hopeful future.

B. The Ins and Outs of the Program

1. Your organization comes to us with a one year pledge.
   
   
2. Esperanza matches you with an orphanage whose needs match your donation.
   
   
3. Your pledge money goes towards:
1. Daily necessities
2. Educating the children
3. Building and maintenance projects
4. Special medical needs
5. More…
   
   
4. Esperanza provides your organization with the following information with a pledge of up to $15,000.00 a year.
1. A poster highlighting children at your sponsored orphanage
2. Yearly update on orphanage
3. Financial report listing how your money was distributed
   
   
5. With a pledge of $15,000.00 or more a year you will be provided with the following:
1. A booklet containing facts and photos of your sponsored orphanage
2. A poster highlighting children at your orphanage
3. Prayer reminder cards to distribute to your members
4. Updates on orphanage
5. Financial report listing how your money was distributed

C. Other Ways to be Informed of your Orphanage

1. Christmas bundles or school kits
   
   
2. Organize a work team to go help out at your orphanage

D. Our Goals

1. To provide churches and organizations with the structure to fulfill James 1:27
   
   
2. To give you the opportunity to become involved on a personal level with orphans, poverty, need, and a different culture
   
   
3. To provide orphanages in Guatemala with the additional support they need to meet the daily, basic needs of the children
   
   
4. To provide the support needed to ensure orphan children are given hope for a better future outside the orphanage by giving them the opportunity to receive an education and develop a life skill or to be adopted by a loving family.
